Neighborhood Amenities

The Homestead at Carrollton provides a number of neighborhood amenities to help you enjoy life in your neighborhood.

The Clubhouse is located on Windmill and Countryside Blvd. Monthly HOA Board meetings are conducted here. The building is also available for private functions by neighbors. See the neighborhood  calendar then contact us to reserve.

Primrose Park has a playground, gazebo, benches, summer shade trees, and plenty of room for an outdoor family ball game. This is also the location for our annual neighborhood Fall Festival with games, rides and kid activities.

The Primrose Park playground was constructed by neighbors in 2008. It features two rock walls, three slides, a crawl tunnel, a bridge, fireman's pole and other climbing structures. There are also 2 baby swings and 2 paddle seat swings.

The community pool area is open May until October. The larger pool has a maximum depth of 5'6" with multiple step entrances and a rocky shallow foot splash space. The pool lights up at night for moonlight swimming.

The kid size pool space is separate from the deeper pool featuring a rocky foot splash area, step entrance, and a fountain in the middle. Both pool areas have access to bathrooms and drinking water fountains at the Clubhouse.

The nature preserve on the southwest corner of the Homestead community is the only privately owned creek space in Carrollton. This area is home to our earliest residents: turtles, ducks, small fish, and other eco-systems.

There are five pocket parks throughout the community of various sizes and features. Pictured above, this park has a jogging path around the perimeter. Maude Park shades its rose garden under pecan trees.
